More than anything, Will is a dad. Off the clock, he is on poppa duty, and there is nowhere he would rather be. He and his fiancée, a Master Sergeant in the Air National Guard, are raising a family with one boot still in the world they both came up in.
Will is an Air Force veteran himself. When the uniform came off, he went looking for what was next and found it in a kitchen. Culinary school led to years on the line in serious kitchens around California, and the love of food never cooled. He is the kind of man who once boarded a plane to Sofia, Bulgaria for a single burger he found online, and counted it worth every mile.
Coming home from the military was the hard part. For a while Will was lost, and psychedelics cracked something open he did not yet know how to carry. The Wisdom Dojo taught him how. He will tell you straight that this place saved his life. Three years into his own training, he now gets to give it back, bringing the operations and finance chops he sharpened at Fireside Project to his work as Director of Finance & Operations. When he is not with his family, you will find him on the BJJ or yoga mat, or somewhere down a trail with his German shorthaired pointer, Betsy.
